1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Batteries

Before initial use, ensure all quick-release batteries are fully charged using the provided 10-bay charger. Insert the batteries into the charging slots. The indicator lights on the charger will show the charging status.

3.2 Attaching the Microphone

Attach the gooseneck microphone to the designated port on the headset. Ensure it is securely connected. You may also attach a microphone sponge cover for improved audio clarity and hygiene.

3.3 Powering On and Pairing

The WiTalk9 system uses DECT 6.0 encryption for secure and stable communication. For initial setup or re-pairing, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure all headsets have the latest firmware.
  2. Set one headset as the Master unit (usually indicated by a red label or specific button sequence).
  3. Set other headsets as Level 1 or Level 2 units as needed for your team configuration.

4. Operating the System

4.1 Full-Duplex Communication

The WiTalk9-8S system provides true full-duplex communication, allowing all 8 users to speak and listen simultaneously without interruption, similar to a phone call.

4.2 Headset Controls

Each headset features intuitive controls:

Manage your WiTalk9 system remotely using the Saramonic APP. This app allows for master control functions such as naming users, grouping, and initiating 1-on-1 conversations.
