2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the iron.
- Use the iron only for its intended use.
- To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
- Always turn the iron OFF before plugging or unplugging from the outlet. Never pull on the cord to disconnect from the outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
- Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around iron when storing.
- Always disconnect iron from electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying, and when not in use.
- Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron; take it to a qualified serviceman for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause a risk of electric shock when the iron is used.
- Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not leave iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
- Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the reservoir.
- The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
- When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.

- Open the water filling inlet.
- Fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill.
- Close the water filling inlet securely.
Note: For optimal performance and to prolong the life of your iron, it is recommended to use tap water. If your water is very hard, you can mix 50% tap water with 50% distilled water.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Heating and Temperature Selection
- Place the iron on its charging base. The indicator light on the base will illuminate.
- Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. Refer to the fabric care labels on your garments.
- The iron will heat up rapidly (approximately 30 seconds). The indicator light on the iron will turn off when the selected temperature is reached.
5.2 Cordless Ironing and Recharge
The Freemove Power iron offers cordless convenience. Once heated, lift the iron from its base to begin ironing. You have approximately 35 seconds of ironing time off the base before it needs to be recharged. When the iron needs recharging, simply place it back on the base. It recharges super fast in just 11 seconds.

5.3 Steam Functions
- Continuous Steam: For continuous steam, ensure the temperature dial is set to a steam-compatible setting (usually indicated by steam symbols). Adjust the steam control slider to the desired steam output (up to 40 g/min).
- Steam Boost: For stubborn creases, press the steam boost button. This delivers an extra burst of steam (up to 220 g/min). Wait a few seconds between each boost to allow the steam chamber to refill.
- Spray Function: Press the spray button to lightly moisten fabric for easier ironing.

5.4 Anti-Drip System
The iron is equipped with an anti-drip system that prevents water from dripping onto your garments, especially when ironing at lower temperatures. This ensures clean and spotless results.
5.5 Auto-Off Safety Feature
For your safety and energy saving, the iron features an automatic shut-off function. If left unattended on its base for an extended period, or if left horizontally on the soleplate, it will automatically turn off. To reactivate, simply pick up the iron or place it back on the base.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1 After Each Use
- Unplug the iron from the electrical outlet.
- Allow the iron to cool down completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
6.2 Cleaning the Soleplate
To clean the ceramic soleplate, wipe it with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or harsh chemicals as these can damage the soleplate. For stubborn marks, a specialized iron soleplate cleaner can be used following its instructions.
6.3 Descaling (Anti-Calc)
While the iron has an anti-drip system, regular descaling is recommended, especially in areas with hard water, to maintain optimal steam performance. Refer to the specific instructions for descaling your iron, typically involving a self-clean function or a descaling solution. Consult the full product manual for detailed descaling procedures if available.
7. Troubleshooting
