Operating the Steam Iron
Temperature and Steam Modes: Select the appropriate mode for your fabric type:
- Eco Mode: For energy-efficient ironing.
- Normal Mode: For standard ironing needs.
- Max Mode / Steam Boost: Provides maximum steam output (e.g., '2s Max' or 'Steam Boost') for tackling stubborn creases and quick ironing.
Vertical Steam: The iron supports vertical steaming for refreshing hanging garments.
Fabric Settings: Adjust the iron's temperature based on fabric types such as wool, silk, and synthetics.
Key Features
- Anti-Calc System: This feature helps maintain the iron's performance by preventing limescale buildup.
- Auto-Off Function: For safety and energy saving, the iron automatically switches off after a period of inactivity. This typically occurs after 8 minutes when left upright or 30 seconds when placed horizontally on its soleplate.
