- Confirm the grill is on a level, stable surface.
- Open the grill lid before lighting any burners.
Igniting the Burners (JETFIRE Ignition System)
- Open the grill lid.
- Turn on the gas supply at the propane tank valve.
- Push in and turn one of the ergonomic control knobs to the HIGH position.
- The Instant JETFIRE Ignition System will shoot a flame to light the burner. You should hear a "click" and see the burner ignite.
- If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the knob to OFF, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the process.
- Once the first burner is lit, you can light additional burners by pushing in and turning their respective control knobs to HIGH. The crossover lighting feature will ignite adjacent burners.
Temperature Control
The ergonomic control knobs allow for precise temperature adjustment. Turn the knobs between HIGH and LOW settings to achieve desired cooking temperatures. The double-walled lid helps retain heat for consistent cooking.
Cooking with WAVE Cooking Grids
The porcelainized cast iron WAVE cooking grids provide excellent heat distribution and retention, creating signature sear marks. Preheat the grill for 10-15 minutes on medium-high heat before placing food on the grids.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Cooking Grids
- After each use, while the grill is still warm, use a grill brush to remove food residue from the porcelainized cast iron WAVE cooking grids.
- For deeper cleaning, remove the grids and wash with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinstalling.
Exterior Cleaning
- Wipe down stainless steel surfaces with a soft cloth and a stainless steel cleaner.
- Clean painted surfaces with mild soap and water.
- Regularly inspect the grease tray and clean as needed to prevent flare-ups.
Annual Inspection
- Inspect all gas hoses and connections for cracks, cuts, or excessive wear. Replace if necessary.
