Setup and Connection

Follow these steps to connect your devices to the BITFUNX converter:

  1. Connect Input Source:
    • For SCART (RGBS) Input: Connect your game console's SCART cable to the "SCART IN" port on the converter. Ensure the SCART cable also carries audio for automatic audio output.
    • For VGA (RGBHV) Input: Connect your VGA source to the "VGA IN" port. Note: When using VGA input, an external USB-C 5V power supply (not included) must be connected to the "USB-C 5V IN" port, and a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) must be connected from your source to the "AUDIO IN" port for sound.
  2. Connect Component Output: Connect a component (YPBPR) cable from the "OUT" ports (Y, PB/CB, PR/CR) on the converter to the corresponding component input ports on your television or monitor.
  3. Connect Audio Output: Connect RCA audio cables from the "AUDIO L" and "AUDIO R" output ports on the converter to your audio receiver or TV's audio input. If using SCART input, audio will be automatically passed through. If using VGA input, ensure a 3.5mm audio cable is connected to the "AUDIO IN" port as mentioned above.
  4. Power On: Power on your game console or video source, and then power on your display device. Select the correct component input on your TV/monitor.
