6. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to create a 58mm button:
- Prepare Your Design: Use the circular paper cutter to cut out your desired pattern from paper. The pattern book provides pre-designed options and blank pages for custom artwork.
- Place Front Shell: Place the metal upper cover (front shell) of the button into the right mold cavity of the machine.
- Add Design Paper: Place your cut-out pattern paper on top of the metal upper cover in the right mold.
- Add Transparent Film: Place a transparent film on top of the pattern paper.
- Press First Stage: Push the slide rail to the left until the upper and lower molds align. Hold the machine body with your left hand and press the handle down firmly with your right hand until the mold bottoms out. This action crimps the front of the button.
- Place Pin Back: Release the handle. Place the pin base (plastic bottom part) into the left mold cavity. Ensure the pin is oriented correctly if it has a specific direction.
- Press Second Stage: Push the slide rail to the right until the upper and lower molds align over the pin base. Press the handle down firmly until the mold bottom is fixed. This action secures the pin back to the front of the button.
- Retrieve Button: Release the handle. Push the slide rail back to the left. Carefully take out the completed button from the mold.
