1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation and operation of your AWESAFE Android 13 Car Radio, specifically designed for Nissan Qashqai J10 models manufactured between 2006 and 2013. 3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Compatibility Check

Before proceeding with installation, ensure your vehicle's dashboard configuration is compatible with the AWESAFE car radio. Refer to the image below for visual guidance.

3.2 Physical Installation

1. Carefully remove the original car radio from your Nissan Qashqai J10 using the provided pry tool.
2. Connect the new AWESAFE car radio's wiring harness to the vehicle's existing connectors. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Install the GPS antenna and radio antenna in suitable, unobstructed locations for optimal signal reception.
4. Mount the new head unit into the dashboard opening, securing it with the provided screws.
5. Attach the custom-fit frame to ensure a seamless and integrated appearance.

3.3 Initial Setup

1. After installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition to power on the car radio.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language and complete the initial basic settings.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 CarPlay and Android Auto

The AWESAFE car radio supports both wired and wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. No additional adapter is required. This feature allows seamless integration of your smartphone for navigation, music, calls, and messaging directly on the car radio display.

4.2 GPS Navigation

The unit supports various online navigation applications (e.g., Waze). Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi to access real-time traffic, speed limits, and optimized route information during your drive.

4.3 Bluetooth 5.0

The car radio features Bluetooth 5.0, which automatically connects to your phone after the unit powers on. This enables hands-free calling, Bluetooth music streaming, and phonebook synchronization. Note: Video playback via Bluetooth is not supported.

4.4 Wi-Fi Connectivity

4.5 MirrorLink Function

The MirrorLink function supports both iPhone and Android phones, allowing you to mirror your phone's screen to the car radio display. Note: Some applications may not support mirroring, which depends on the app developer and not the device itself.

4.6 FM RDS Radio

The unit displays radio frequency and supports RDS (Radio Data System) and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) functions for enhanced audio quality and information display. Note: Does not support displaying the radio station name.

4.7 Steering Wheel Controls

The car radio is equipped with a power cable connector that allows existing steering wheel controls to function normally after correct wiring. If controls do not work automatically, navigate to the device's `Settings` to manually configure the Steering Wheel Control (SWC) functions.
