Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Antimicrobial Coating
The mouse features an antimicrobial coating designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria on its surface. This coating works by releasing trace amounts of silver ions (Ag+) to eliminate surface bacteria, contributing to a more hygienic user experience.

Figure 5: Antimicrobial Coating Mechanism
This diagram explains how the antimicrobial coating functions, showing silver ions (Ag+) leaching from the ABS surface to eliminate bacteria, providing 99% protection.
Battery Replacement
When the mouse performance degrades or the indicator light (if present) signals low battery, replace the AA battery following the installation steps in the Setup section.
Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer.
- Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
- Restart your computer.
- Lagging or intermittent connection:
- Ensure the mouse is within the 10-meter operating range of the USB receiver.
- Reduce interference by moving the mouse away from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
- Ensure there are no large metal objects between the mouse and the receiver.
- Cursor movement is erratic or imprecise:
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
