1. Setup and Assembly

Your KOMFOTT Twin Size Wood Platform Bed Frame requires assembly. Detailed instructions and all necessary accessories are included in the package to guide you through the installation process. Please follow the step-by-step guide provided with your product.

The bed frame is designed with robust plywood slats, eliminating the need for a box spring. Ensure all slats are properly installed and secured to provide adequate support for your mattress.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Charging Station

The integrated headboard features a convenient charging station. It includes one USB port and one Type-C port, both providing 5V/2.1A output for charging your electronic devices. A 5-foot power cord is provided to connect the charging station to a power supply.

2.2 LED Light

A built-in LED light strip is located within the headboard to provide ambient lighting. The LED light is controlled by a side switch, allowing you to turn it on or off as needed.

3. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your bed frame, follow these care instructions:

• Cleaning: Wipe the wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Under-bed Space: The 12-inch under-bed clearance allows for easy cleaning. Regularly clear any dust or debris from this area.
• Connections: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.

4. Troubleshooting

• Mattress Shifting: The footboard design is intended to prevent the mattress from sliding. If your mattress still shifts, ensure it is correctly sized for a twin bed frame and that the footboard is securely attached.
• Unstable Frame/Noises: If the bed frame feels unstable or makes creaking noises, check all assembly connections. Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened according to the assembly instructions. Over-tightening can also cause issues, so follow the guide carefully.
• LED Light Malfunction: If the LED light does not turn on, check the power connection to the wall outlet and ensure the side switch is functioning correctly. Verify the power cord is securely plugged into the headboard unit.
• Charging Ports Not Working: If the USB or Type-C ports are not charging devices, confirm the bed frame's power cord is plugged into a live electrical outlet. Test with different devices and cables to rule out device-specific issues.
