- Battery Replacement: The watch uses one LR44 battery. Battery life varies depending on usage. When the display becomes dim or functions malfunction, replace the battery. It is recommended to have battery replacement performed by an authorized Casio service center to ensure water resistance integrity.
- Temperature Exposure: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or strong magnetic fields.
7. Troubleshooting
- Incorrect Time/Date: If the time or date is incorrect, re-enter the Timekeeping Mode setting and adjust as described in Section 4. Ensure the correct city code and DST setting are selected.
- Analog Hands Do Not Match Digital Time: If the analog hands are out of sync with the digital time, perform a hand alignment correction. Refer to the full Casio module manual (Module No. 5081, if applicable) for specific instructions on hand alignment. This usually involves entering a special setting mode and manually adjusting the hands.
- Display is Dim/Blank: This usually indicates a low battery. Replace the LR44 battery as soon as possible.
