3. Safety Information

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Nuwave Pro Smart Air Fryer Oven Combo for the first time:

1. Unboxing: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including plastic covers and tape from the unit and accessories.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe down the interior and exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Wash all accessories (plug-in grill, baking/drip pan, air fry basket, wire rack) with warm, soapy water.
3. Rack Positions: The oven has three rack positions. Position 1 is the lowest, Position 2 is the middle, and Position 3 is the highest.
4. Inserting Plug-in Grill: For grilling, slide the drip pan into the bottom of the unit. Then, insert the plug-in grill into Position 1 with the grill plug facing the back of the unit. Push until it securely connects to the grill power connector.
5. Placing Air Fry Basket & Wire Rack: For air frying, slide the air fry basket into Position 3 and the wire rack into Position 2. You can adjust positions based on your recipe.
6. Connecting Temperature Probe: To use the temperature probe, simply plug the probe into the jack on the control panel. Insert the other end into the food when ready to cook.
7. Initial Use Smell: It is normal for your new unit to produce a heated plastic smell when used for the first few times. This will dissipate with continued use.

5. Operating Instructions

The Nuwave Pro Smart Air Fryer Oven Combo offers various cooking functions and settings. Familiarize yourself with the control panel and follow these instructions for optimal use.

5.1. General Operation (Power, Temperature, Time)

• Power On/Off: Press the On/Off button to turn the unit on or off.
• Setting Cooking Time: After turning on, the LED display will show a default cooking temperature (e.g., 350°F). Press Temp/Time and turn the Start/Pause dial to select your desired cooking time (from 1 minute up to 99 hours and 59 minutes).
