4. Setup and Installation

The HOLOMARQ H2 is designed for simple 4-step installation, typically completed in 5 minutes by one person. A Philips screwdriver is required.

4.1 Door Compatibility

The lock fits most interior doors with standard backsets from 2-3/8" inches up to 2-3/4" inches (60mm or 70mm), and door thicknesses of up to 2.5 inches (35-65mm).

5.1 Admin Code Management

The initial setup requires setting an admin code. This code is essential for managing all lock functions, including adding/deleting fingerprints and user codes.

5.2 Adding Fingerprints and User Codes

Follow the instructions in the included manual to enroll up to 100 fingerprints and 49 user codes. Ensure proper finger placement for accurate recognition.

5.3 Auto-Lock Function

The lock is set to 'Auto-Lock' after 5 seconds by default. This feature automatically secures the door after it has been opened and closed.
