4. Assembly Instructions

Before You Begin

• Clear a spacious area for assembly.
• Lay out all parts and hardware. Refer to the parts list to ensure everything is present.
• You will need a Phillips head screwdriver (not included).

Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Attach Drawer Slides to Side Panels: Secure the inner drawer slides to the designated holes on the cabinet's side panels using the provided screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly.
2. Assemble Cabinet Frame: Connect the side panels to the bottom panel using dowels and cam locks. Then, attach the top panel in the same manner.
3. Install Back Panel: Slide the back panel into the grooves on the cabinet frame and secure it with small nails or screws.
4. Assemble Drawers: For each drawer, attach the side panels to the front panel (with rattan insert) using dowels and cam locks. Slide the drawer bottom into the grooves, then attach the back panel.
5. Attach Drawer Slides to Drawers: Secure the outer drawer slides to the sides of the assembled drawers.
6. Install Handles and Lock: Attach the handles to the drawer fronts. Install the lock mechanism into the top drawer front as indicated in the diagram.

Using the Drawers

• The hanging file bars can be adjusted to fit A4, Letter, or Legal size documents. Simply lift and reposition them in the desired slots.

Using the Lock

• The top drawer is equipped with a key lock for securing confidential items.
• To lock the drawer, ensure it is fully closed. Insert the key into the lock and turn it clockwise until the drawer is secured.
• To unlock the drawer, insert the key and turn it counter-clockwise.
