3.2 Speaker Placement
Optimal speaker placement is crucial for sound quality. Consider the following:
- Listening Triangle: Position the two speakers and your listening point to form an equilateral triangle (60 degrees).
- Distance from Walls: Ideally, place speakers at least 1.5 meters away from walls to prevent bass buildup.
- Symmetry: Place speakers symmetrically to your listening position.
- Tweeter Height: Position tweeters at ear level (typically 1.2m to 1.4m).
- Vertical Orientation: Always place speakers vertically (avoid horizontal placement).
- Room Acoustics: Use appropriate room acoustic treatment to reduce interference from direct and reflected sound.
- Standing Waves: Adjust speaker position to minimize the effect of room standing waves.

3.3 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press the volume knob on the front panel.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the volume knob for 1.5 seconds.
- Power Saving Mode: The speakers will enter power-saving mode if no audio is played or no operation is performed for 15 minutes (Bluetooth device connected). If no Bluetooth device is connected and no operation for 15 minutes, the speakers will power off. This feature is enabled by default. To disable/re-enable, turn the volume to 0 and press the volume knob twice. The indicator will flash once for disabled, twice for enabled.

5.3 Audio Tuning (Room Correction)
The 'Acoustic Tuning' interface in the app allows you to modify settings based on your room environment:
- Low Cutoff: Reduces low frequencies (20-100 Hz) based on room size and shape. Attenuation levels can be set at 6, 12, 18, or 24 dB/octave.
- Acoustic Space: Adjusts the bass boost based on speaker placement (e.g., 0dB for center, -2dB for wall side, -4dB for corner).
- Desktop Control: Compensates for sound reflections when speakers are placed on a desktop. This feature helps mitigate the effect of increased decibel levels at certain frequencies due to desktop placement.

- 'Low' Knob: Adjusts frequencies around 125Hz by +/- 6dB.
5.4 Headphone Output
To use headphones, connect them to the 3.5mm headphone jack on the front panel. When headphones are connected, the speaker output will be muted. The headphone volume can be adjusted using the speaker's volume knob.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Edifier MR3 speakers, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the speaker is turned on (press the volume knob). Check the power outlet.
- No Sound: Verify that the correct input source is selected. Check all audio cable connections. Ensure the volume is not muted or too low. If using Bluetooth, ensure the device is paired and connected.
- Distorted Sound: Reduce the volume of the source device and the speaker. Check for loose connections. Ensure the audio source is not overdriven.
- Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing indicator). Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth. Try forgetting the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pairing.
- App Connectivity Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and the speaker is connected to your device. Restart the app and try again.
