3. Getting Started

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

The SKRT XW-E08 Mobility Scooter is delivered fully assembled and quality-controlled in the US. No assembly is required. Upon receiving your scooter, carefully inspect the packaging and the scooter itself for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit. Report any damage to the carrier immediately.

4.1 Controls Overview

  • Key Ignition: Insert the physical key (x2 included) into the ignition slot to power on/off the scooter.

5.2 Charging Procedure

  1. Ensure the scooter is turned off before connecting the charger.
  2. Locate the charging port on the scooter.
  3. Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port.
  4. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. The charging time is typically 6-7 hours for a full charge.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Consider the terrain and load; steep inclines and heavy loads will reduce range and speed.
  • Battery degradation over time is normal. If significant reduction occurs, the battery may need replacement.
