2. Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, please observe the following safety precautions:

  • Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

4. Setup

4.1 Installing the Dust Cup and Filters

  1. Ensure the main unit is powered off.
  2. Align the dust cup with the main unit's connection point and push firmly until it clicks into place.
  3. Insert the HEPA filter into the dust cup, ensuring it is seated correctly to prevent air leakage.

4.2 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the vacuum cleaner's battery. The main unit contains the battery.

  1. Connect the adapter to the charging port on the main unit.
  2. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Charge until the indicator light shows a full charge (refer to the indicator light behavior in the specifications section).

4.3 Attaching Accessories

  1. For floor cleaning, connect the telescopic aluminum tube to the main unit. Ensure it clicks securely.
  2. Attach the floor brush to the other end of the telescopic tube.
  3. For handheld use or specific tasks, attach tools like the crevice tool or 2-in-1 brush directly to the main unit or the telescopic tube.

5. Operation

5.1 Powering On/Off

The SunSare KCV02 Main Unit features a push-button control for power and a touch control for other functions.

  • To turn on: Press the power button located on the main unit. The vacuum will start in its standard operating mode.
  • To turn off: Press the power button again.

5.2 Using the Vacuum

Once assembled and powered on, guide the vacuum cleaner over the surfaces you wish to clean. The KCV02 is suitable for all floor types.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your SunSare KCV02 Main Unit.

6.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup regularly, especially when the MAX fill line is reached, to maintain suction power.

  1. Ensure the main unit is powered off and disconnected from any charging source.
  2. Press the dust cup release button and detach the dust cup from the main unit.
  3. Position the dust cup over a trash bin and open the bottom flap to release debris.
  4. Close the flap and reattach the dust cup to the main unit, ensuring it clicks securely.

6.2 Cleaning and Replacing Filters

The HEPA filter should be cleaned periodically and replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage.

  1. Remove the dust cup as described above.
  2. Twist or pull to remove the filter assembly from the dust cup.
  3. Tap the filter gently over a trash bin to remove loose dust. For a deeper clean, rinse the filter under cold running water.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use a dryer or heat to dry.
  5. Reinsert the dry filter into the dust cup and reattach the dust cup to the main unit.

6.3 Cleaning the Main Unit

Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or use abrasive cleaners.
