Product Overview

The NARWAL Freo Z Ultra is an advanced robotic vacuum and mop designed for comprehensive floor cleaning. It features dual 1600x1200 HD cameras and dual AI chips for real-time cleaning decisions and advanced obstacle avoidance. The accompanying base station provides automated self-emptying, hot water mop washing, and self-drying capabilities for a hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your NARWAL Freo Z Ultra for the first time.

1. Unboxing and Component Check

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed below are present:

2. Base Station Placement

Place the base station on a hard, flat surface against a wall, ensuring there is adequate clear space around it (at least 0.5 meters on both sides and 1.5 meters in front). Plug the power cord into the base station and a wall outlet.

3. Initial Fill-Up

Open the top cover of the base station. Remove the clean water tank (purple) and fill it with clean tap water. Add the specified amount of NARWAL floor detergent to the designated compartment. Reinsert the tank and close the cover.

4. Robot Preparation

Attach the side brushes and mop pads to the robot vacuum as instructed in the quick start guide. Ensure all protective films are removed from the robot and base station sensors.

5. App Connection and Mapping

Download the NARWAL app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Freo Z Ultra. The robot will perform an initial mapping of your home, which can be viewed and customized within the app.

Cleaning Modes

• Vacuum Only: For dry debris and dust. The 12,000Pa suction effectively lifts dirt from carpets and hard floors.
• Mop Only: For wet spills and stains. Dual mops apply 1.2 kg of downward force and scrub at 180 RPM.
• Vacuum & Mop: Combines both functions for a thorough clean. The robot intelligently identifies wet and dry messes to deploy the optimal cleaning mode.

Advanced Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

Equipped with dual HD cameras and AI chips, the Freo Z Ultra recognizes over 120 objects, allowing it to navigate precisely and avoid obstacles like pet accidents, furniture, and cables. It also features EdgeSwing technology for thorough cleaning along walls and a baseboard cleaning module for vertical surfaces.

Carpet Handling

The robot can detect carpets and automatically lift its mops by 12mm (0.67 inches) to prevent wetting while boosting suction for deep carpet cleaning. It avoids long-pile carpets to prevent entanglement.

App and Voice Control

Manage your cleaning preferences, schedule cleanings, and define no-go zones through the intuitive NARWAL app. The robot also supports voice commands via Alexa, Siri, or Google Home for convenient control.

Base Station Maintenance

• Self-Emptying: The base station automatically empties the robot's dustbin into a 2.5L dustbag, providing up to 120 days of maintenance-free dust disposal.
• Mop Washing and Drying: The base station cleans the mop pads with hot water (104°F to 140°F, finishing at 167°F for hygiene) and then self-dries them to prevent odors and mildew.
• Water Tank Management: Regularly empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank. The app will notify you when these actions are required.
• Detergent Replacement: Replace the floor detergent cartridge when empty.

Robot Vacuum Maintenance

• Brush Cleaning: The certified tangle-free brush minimizes hair entanglement, but occasional inspection and cleaning are recommended.
• Sensor Cleaning: Wipe the robot's sensors and charging contacts with a dry cloth periodically to ensure proper navigation and charging.
• Dustbin Filter: Replace the dust bin filter as needed to maintain suction performance.
