Setup and Installation
Your Karinear electric cooktop offers versatile installation options: it can be used as a portable countertop unit or integrated as a built-in appliance.
Countertop Use
For countertop use, simply place the cooktop on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation. The cooktop has rubber feet on the bottom for stability.

Built-in Installation
If you choose to install the cooktop as a built-in unit, ensure your countertop cutout meets the specified dimensions. This provides a seamless and aesthetically pleasing look.

Operating Instructions
The Karinear electric cooktop features intuitive touch controls for easy operation.
Power On/Off
Press the On/Off button to turn the cooktop on or off. The display will illuminate when powered on.
Adjusting Power Levels
The cooktop offers 9 power levels for precise temperature control. Use the + and - buttons next to each burner's display to increase or decrease the power level.
- Large Burner: Up to 1800W
- Small Burner: Up to 900W
Timer Function
To set a cooking timer (up to 99 minutes), press the Timer button and use the + and - buttons to adjust the desired time. The cooktop will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
Child Safety Lock
To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the Lock button for a few seconds until 'Lo' is displayed. This prevents accidental operation. To unlock, press and hold the Lock button again until 'Lo' disappears.
Residual Heat Indicator
After cooking, if the glass surface is still hot, an 'H' will be displayed for the corresponding burner. This indicates residual heat and will disappear once the surface has cooled to a safe temperature.
Cookware Compatibility
This electric ceramic hob is compatible with any pots and pans made of heat-resistant materials. Unlike induction cooktops, it does not require specific iron or magnetic cookware.
