Switch Characteristics: Ghost (Linear) vs. Phantom (Tactile)

- Phantom (Tactile): Offers a gentle sound and responsive touch with a noticeable bump during actuation.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Keyboard
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard.
- Disconnect the keyboard from all power sources and devices.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and frame.
- For dust and debris between keycaps, use compressed air.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
2. Replacing Switches and Keycaps
Thanks to the hot-swappable design, you can easily replace switches and keycaps.
- Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycap.
- Use the switch puller to carefully extract the switch from its socket.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
- Place the new keycap onto the switch stem.
Troubleshooting
1. Keyboard Not Responding
- Wired Mode: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
- Bluetooth Mode: Check if the keyboard is charged. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is paired. Try re-pairing the keyboard.
- Verify the mode switch on the keyboard is set correctly (Wired/Bluetooth).
2. Connectivity Issues (Bluetooth)
- Ensure the keyboard is within range of your device (typically up to 10 meters).
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
- Forget the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth settings and re-pair it.
- Try connecting to a different Bluetooth channel (BT1, BT2, BT3).
3. Backlight/Sidelight Not Working
- Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged.
- Use the Fn + F5/F6 (backlight) or Fn + F11/F12 (sidelight) keys to adjust brightness.
- Try cycling through lighting effects with Fn + F7/F8 or Fn + F9/F10.
4. Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing
- This could indicate a faulty switch. Since the keyboard is hot-swappable, try replacing the problematic switch with a spare one or swapping it with a less frequently used key to diagnose.
- Ensure the switch is fully seated in its socket.
