Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

Before initial use, it is recommended to fully charge the camera's internal battery using the provided power cable. Connect the power cable to the camera and a standard USB power adapter (not included). A full charge ensures optimal performance and allows the solar panel to maintain the charge effectively.

2. App Installation

Download the "VicoHome" app from your smartphone's app store. The app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Follow the in-app instructions to create an account and add your new Techage camera. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the setup process, as the camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for better range.

3. Camera and Solar Panel Mounting

Select a suitable outdoor location for the camera and solar panel. The camera should be mounted securely using the provided bracket and screws. The solar panel should be positioned to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging.

Connect the solar panel cable to the camera. Ensure all connections are secure and weatherproof.

Operating Instructions

1. Live View and PTZ Control

Access the VicoHome app to view the live feed from your camera. Use the pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (90° vertical) controls within the app to adjust the camera's viewing angle and achieve 360° coverage of your property, eliminating blind spots.

2. Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera features PIR motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera can activate its spotlight and audible siren to deter intruders. You will receive instant notifications on your VicoHome app.
