2. Setup and Adjustment

2.1 Initial Power On

The watch comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery. It is ready for use upon receipt.

2.2 Adjusting the Stainless Steel Bracelet

The watch features an adjustable lightweight breathable steel woven band with a stainless steel folding buckle. The strap length can be freely adjusted to fit wrist sizes between 4.33-7.67 inches (110-195mm).

The strap is equipped with a switch ear, allowing for easy removal without tools.

2.3 Setting Time and Date

Refer to the included quick start guide for detailed instructions on setting the time, date, and 12/24 hour format. The watch displays 'PM' after noon in 12-hour mode, which is crucial for correct daily reset of the pedometer and date at midnight.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Step Counting Function

The watch accurately tracks steps, calories burned, and distance traveled. Mileage can be switched between kilometers and miles.

To filter out invalid steps from irregular hand movements, all step counts for single continuous movements less than 10 seconds will be disregarded.
If continuous movement exceeds 10 seconds, previous step counts will automatically be accumulated.

3.2 Understanding Step Count Errors

Certain activities may affect step count accuracy:

Irregular walking patterns (e.g., in crowded areas, stopping and starting).
Pushing a shopping cart or stroller.
Being in a location with frequent vibrations, or riding a bicycle or car.
Frequent movement of hands or arms (e.g., clapping, fanning), walking while holding hands, or using a cane/stick, or any movement where hands and legs are not coordinated.
Non-walking daily activities (e.g., cleaning).

3.3 Backlight Function

The watch features a 5-second EL bright backlight for visibility in low-light conditions. Activate the backlight by pressing the 'LIGHT' button.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Information

The watch uses one CR2032 battery, which is included. The battery can last up to 15 months without charging. The battery is replaceable.

4.2 Water Resistance

The watch is 30M water resistant. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as washing hands, getting wet in rain, or splashing water. It is not recommended for swimming or showering for extended periods.

4.3 Cleaning

To clean the watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.1 Inaccurate Step Count

If you experience inaccurate step counts, review the 'Understanding Step Count Errors' section (3.2). Ensure your movements are consistent and sustained for at least 10 seconds for optimal tracking.

5.2 Dim Backlight or Display Issues

A dim backlight or fading display may indicate a low battery. Replace the CR2032 battery as described in section 4.1. The battery compartment can be accessed by removing the four screws on the back of the watch.
