Setup Instructions

1. Unpack and Clean: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Wash the stainless steel basin and the pump/top unit thoroughly with water and mild soap. Rinse well to remove any residue.
2. Install Filter: Soak the new filter element in clean water for 5-10 minutes before first use to remove any carbon dust. Place the filter sponge into its designated slot in the pump unit, then place the filter element on top.
3. Assemble Pump Unit: Ensure the pump is securely seated in its compartment within the top unit.
4. Fill Water Tank: Fill the stainless steel basin with clean water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. The capacity is 3.2 liters (108 ounces).

Operating Modes

The POOEKEN Wireless Cat Water Fountain offers three distinct operating modes to suit your pet's needs and conserve energy. Use the mode selection button on the pump unit to switch between modes.

• 1. Induction Mode (Recommended):

  In this mode, the fountain's motion sensor activates the water flow for 15 seconds when your pet approaches within approximately 50 inches (127 cm). This conserves battery life while ensuring fresh water is available when needed.

• 2. Timer Mode:

  The fountain will dispense water for 15 seconds every 10 minutes, providing periodic hydration throughout the day.

• 3. Basic DC Powered (Continuous Mode):

  When connected to a power source via the USB cable, the fountain will provide a continuous flow of water 24/7. This mode does not rely on the internal battery.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and filter replacement are crucial for maintaining water quality and extending the life of your fountain.

Cleaning Instructions:

1. Disassemble: Unplug the fountain if using continuous mode. Remove the top unit and empty any remaining water from the basin.
2. Clean Basin & Top Unit: Wash the stainless steel basin and the plastic top unit with warm water and mild dish soap. Use a soft sponge or cloth to remove any slime or debris. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Clean Pump: Disassemble the pump by removing the cover and impeller. Clean all parts with a small brush (e.g., a toothbrush) to remove any hair or debris that may have accumulated. Rinse thoroughly.
