Setup and Assembly
Your BILT HARD 12-inch floor fan requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove the fan and its support bar from the packaging.
- Attach Support Bar: The fan comes with a support bar designed for floor placement. Snap this piece into place at the base of the fan.
- Remove Protective Plastic: Some units may have protective plastic secured by the rubber feet. Gently remove the rubber nubs, peel off the plastic, and re-secure the rubber nubs to ensure stability. The tube base with rubber feet ensures stability.
- Positioning: Place the fan on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is away from curtains or other objects that could be drawn into the fan blades.
- Plug In: Connect the 2-pin grounded plug into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
The BILT HARD 12-inch floor fan features simple controls for ease of use.
Power and Speed Control
The fan is equipped with a button control switch, typically located on the rear of the fan housing. This switch allows you to select from three distinct speed settings:
- Setting 1 (Low): Provides 1005 CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute) for gentle airflow.
- Setting 2 (Medium): Provides 1335 CFM for moderate airflow.
- Setting 3 (High): Provides 1650 CFM for powerful, high-velocity airflow.
Rotate the dial to your desired speed setting. Turn the dial to '0' to switch the fan off.

Adjustable Tilt Function
The fan head can be adjusted up to 180 degrees. This allows you to direct the airflow precisely where it is needed. To adjust the tilt, loosen the knobs on either side of the fan, position the fan head to your desired angle, and then tighten the knobs securely.

Portability
The fan features a built-in handle for easy transport. Its lightweight design makes it convenient to move between rooms or locations.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your fan. Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
- Cleaning Blades: The fan blades can be cleaned using compressed air to remove dust and debris. The larger outer cage grill spacing allows for easier access.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or covered to protect it from dust.
