Setup

The ASKGO K10 Electric Scooter comes 100% pre-assembled, minimizing setup time. Follow these steps for initial preparation:

  1. Unfolding the Scooter:

Carefully remove the scooter from its packaging. Locate the folding mechanism on the stem. Release the latch and unfold the stem until it locks securely into place. Ensure the stem lock prevents accidental detachment.

  2. Adjusting the Seat and Handlebars:

The seat height is adjustable to accommodate riders from 4'9" to 5'9". Loosen the quick-release lever on the seat post, adjust to your desired height, and securely fasten the lever. Similarly, adjust the handlebar height for comfortable riding posture.

  3. Initial Charge:

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port, typically located on the side of the scooter's deck, and then plug it into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete. This may take several hours.

  4. Attaching the Rear Basket (if not pre-attached):

If your rear basket is not pre-attached, follow the instructions provided with the basket to securely mount it to the rear rack of the scooter. Ensure it is stable and can support the intended load (up to 39.6 lbs / 18 kg).
