4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging of the Power Bank

Before first use, fully charge your Anker Prime Power Bank. The power bank supports 170W fast USB-C recharging.

1. Connect a USB-C charging cable to one of the power bank's USB-C input/output ports.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible high-wattage USB-C power adapter (not included). For fastest charging, use both USB-C ports with appropriate adapters.
3. The digital display will show the charging status and estimated time to full charge.

Note:

• If the power bank is fully depleted (screen inactive) and you are using a charging base, the base charging may automatically shut off. Recharge via a USB-C port first to restore base charging functionality.

4.2 Connecting to the Anker App

The Anker Prime Power Bank can be controlled and monitored via the Anker app.

1. Press the side button on the power bank to turn it on and enter the main screen.
2. Use the side button to navigate to the Bluetooth settings page, and press it twice to enable Bluetooth broadcasting.
3. Open the Anker app on your smartphone.
4. Tap on the 'Add Device' button and select the device icon labeled 'Prime Power Bank'.
5. Once the connection is successful, you can customize the device name.

4.3 Locating Your Power Bank

Use the app's 'Find Device' feature to activate an audible signal from your power bank, making it easier to locate if misplaced.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Charging Devices

The Anker Prime Power Bank features two USB-C ports and one USB-A port for charging your devices.

1. Connect your device to the appropriate USB-C or USB-A port on the power bank using a compatible charging cable.
2. The power bank will automatically begin charging your device. The digital display will show the output wattage for each active port.

5.2 Digital Display Information

The integrated digital display provides crucial real-time data:

• Battery Percentage: Shows the remaining charge of the power bank.
• Remaining Time: Estimates the time until the power bank is fully charged or depleted, depending on its state.
• Port Output/Input: Displays the wattage being drawn by connected devices or the wattage being received during recharging.

5.3 Optimized Charging (via App)

The Anker app allows you to enable optimized charging to extend the battery lifespan of both the power bank and your connected devices.

• Access the 'Optimized Charging' settings within the Anker app.
• Configure charging schedules or limits to prevent overcharging and reduce battery degradation.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the power bank. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the power bank in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To maintain optimal battery health, fully charge and discharge the power bank at least once every three months if not in regular use.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Power Bank Not Charging

• Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the power bank and the power adapter.
• Verify that the power adapter is functioning correctly and is compatible with the power bank's input requirements.
• If using a charging base and the power bank is fully depleted (screen inactive), recharge via a USB-C port first to restore base charging functionality.

7.2 Devices Not Charging

• Check if the power bank has sufficient charge.
• Ensure the charging cable connecting the device to the power bank is functional and correctly inserted.
• Verify that your device is compatible with the power bank's output specifications.
