5. Installation
Important: Installation should only be carried out by a qualified electrician. Ensure the main power supply is switched off before commencing any electrical work.
- Prepare the Installation Area: Choose a suitable outdoor location, ensuring it is within reach of the electrical supply and provides optimal coverage for the motion sensor.
- Disconnect Power: Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Mount the Bracket:
- Carefully detach the mounting bracket from the light fixture.
- Position the bracket on the wall and mark the drilling points.
- Drill holes at the marked points and insert the provided wall plugs.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
- Wire the Fixture:
- Connect the electrical wires from your power supply to the corresponding terminals on the light fixture. Follow standard wiring color codes (e.g., Live, Neutral, Earth).
- Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
- Install the GU10 Bulb:
- Insert the GU10 LED bulb into the socket by aligning the pins and twisting clockwise until secure.
- Do not exceed the maximum wattage of 7W.
- Attach the Fixture: Carefully attach the light fixture to the mounted bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened and sealed against moisture.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.
6. Operating Instructions
The Ledvion wall light features an integrated motion sensor with adjustable settings for optimal performance.

Motion Sensor Settings:
The motion sensor has two adjustable controls, typically located at the bottom of the sensor unit:
- Time Adjustment (TIME): This control adjusts how long the light remains on after motion is detected and no further motion is sensed.
- Adjustable from approximately 10 seconds to 5 minutes.
- Turn clockwise to increase the duration, counter-clockwise to decrease.
- Sensitivity/Distance Adjustment (SENS): This control adjusts the detection range or sensitivity of the motion sensor.
- Turn clockwise to increase the detection distance/sensitivity, counter-clockwise to decrease.
- Test the range after adjustment to ensure desired coverage.
Note: The motion sensor typically includes a light sensor (photocell) that prevents the light from activating during daylight hours. This setting is usually automatic and not user-adjustable on this model.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Ledvion wall light.
- Cleaning:
- Ensure the power is off before cleaning.
- Wipe the fixture with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the finish or glass.
- Bulb Replacement:
- Disconnect power before replacing the bulb.
- Allow the bulb to cool completely if it has been recently used.
- Twist the old GU10 bulb counter-clockwise to remove it.
- Insert a new GU10 LED bulb (max 7W) by aligning the pins and twisting clockwise until secure.
- Restore power after replacement.
- Inspection: Periodically check the fixture for any signs of damage, loose connections, or wear. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.
8. Troubleshooting
