Setup Instructions

1. Unboxing: Carefully open the product packaging. Remove the LED light, AC/DC adapter, metal brackets, and user manual. Inspect all components for any signs of damage.
2. Attach Brackets: Insert the two metal brackets into the designated slots on each end of the LED light fixture. These brackets are extendable, allowing you to adjust the light to fit different-sized aquariums within the specified range (e.g., 40-48 inches for the 36W model).

3. Placement: Position the light securely on top of your aquarium using the extended brackets. Ensure the light is centered and stable.
4. Power Connection: Connect the AC/DC adapter to the light fixture and then plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet. Ensure the connection is secure before proceeding.

Operating Instructions

The AQQA LED Aquarium Light features an integrated controller for easy operation. The controller has buttons for ON/OFF & Lighting Options, Brightness Options, and Timer settings.

1. DIY Mode

This mode allows for flexible adjustment of light color, brightness, and timer settings.

• ON/OFF & Lighting Options Button:
  • Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn off the light.
  • Press twice quickly to enter auto color cycle mode.
  • Press to change light color: Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Cyan, Yellow, Purple, Color Gradient, Full Spectrum Light. There are 9 color choices available.

• Brightness Options Button:
  • Adjust light brightness through 10 levels: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%.
  • Note: The brightness of the lights cannot be adjusted in 24/7 mode.
• Timer Button:
  • Select from 3 lighting timer settings: 6H (6 hours), 10H (10 hours), 12H (12 hours). The light will automatically turn on and off every day once the timer duration is set.

2. 24/7 Default Mode

This mode simulates a natural 24-hour sunrise and sunset pattern to promote plant growth and provide a dynamic visual experience. The light automatically adjusts its color and brightness throughout the day.

• The default light turns on automatically at 6:00 AM and turns off at 23:00 (11:00 PM).
• The automatic ON/OFF time can be postponed or advanced from the overall default time period.
• The light transitions from warm orange light at sunrise to 100% brighter full-spectrum light at noon, and then to starry blue light at night.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Over time, the surface of the light may become cloudy due to mineral deposits or algae. To maintain optimal light output, carefully clean the light surface regularly. Use a soft, dry towel or a mild glass cleaner (like Windex) to wipe the surface. Ensure the light is unplugged and dry before cleaning.
• Waterproof Rating: The light has an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it can be directly submerged in water for use. However, always ensure the power connections are dry and secure before submerging.

Troubleshooting

• Light Not Turning On:
  • Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into both the light and the power outlet.
  • Ensure the power outlet is functional. Test with another device.
  • Verify that the light is not set to an "OFF" timer or in a dimmed state.
• Lights Dim or Flickering:
  • Check the brightness setting in DIY mode.
  • Clean the light surface as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Ensure the power supply is stable and not experiencing fluctuations.
• Timer Not Working Correctly:
  • Re-program the timer settings according to the Operating Instructions.
  • Ensure the light is not in 24/7 mode if you intend to use custom timer settings, as brightness adjustments are not supported in 24/7 mode.
• Water Inside Light Fixture:
  • Although IP68 rated, if water is observed inside the light, immediately unplug it. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.
