Camera Placement
The MaxRanger 4K cameras utilize a unique 900MHz Wi-Fi technology, allowing for significantly longer range and better penetration through obstacles compared to standard 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. This enables flexible placement up to 2000ft (600m) in open air or 650ft (200m) in typical use from the NVR Hub. Consider mounting cameras on fences, trees, or outbuildings to cover perimeters and blind spots.
