It offers precise input, pressure sensitivity, and convenient functions for a seamless user experience. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.

The Mingxiong Tilt Pen (SPEN-HP-03) is compatible with the following HP laptop models that support Windows Ink and MPP2.0 protocol:

Product Overview

• Sensitive Pen Nib: Provides 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity for precise writing and drawing.
• Function Button: Configurable for various actions, including right-click functionality.
• Indicator Light: Displays pairing status and battery level.
• USB-C Charging Port: Used for recharging the pen's internal battery.
• Tail End Eraser: Functions as an eraser when pressed against the screen.

Setup

1. Charging the Pen

Before first use, fully charge your Tilt Pen. The pen supports fast charging.

1. Turn the cap counterclockwise and pull it up to reveal the USB-C charging port.
2. Connect a USB-C charging cable (not always included, please check package contents) to the port and a power source.
3. The pen will be fully charged in approximately one hour.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

To enable advanced features like presentation mode, pair the pen via Bluetooth:

1. Long press the top button (tail end) of the pen for approximately 3 seconds.
2. The indicator light will show a blue light, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your HP laptop, go to Bluetooth settings and select the Mingxiong Tilt Pen to pair.
4. The indicator light will blink blue upon successful pairing.

Operating Instructions

Basic Functions

• Writing/Drawing: Use the sensitive pen nib directly on your screen. The 4096 pressure sensitivity allows for varied line thickness and shading.
• Right-click Function: Press the function button on the side of the pen to perform a right-click action.
• Eraser Function: Use the tail end of the pen as an eraser by pressing it against the screen.

Presentation Mode

The Tilt Pen supports a dedicated presentation mode with specific button functionalities:

• Switching Modes: Hold button B, then press button A to switch between Stylus mode and Presentation mode.
• Button A Functions:
  • Press Once: Page Down function
  • Press Twice: Page Up function
• Button B Functions:
  • Press Once: Left-click function
  • Press Twice: Right-click function
• Hold and Gesture: Use gestures while holding the pen to move the on-screen cursor.

Note: These functions are performed if the pen is touching a touch screen, regardless of Bluetooth connection status.

Precision Control

The pen utilizes improved N-trig technology, allowing for precise writing, drawing, and navigation. This technology contributes to a natural and responsive feel, enhancing your digital workflow.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pen. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Storage: Store the pen in a safe place to prevent damage to the nib. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Battery Life: The pen offers approximately 10 hours of continuous use on a full charge. Recharge when the indicator light signals low battery.

Troubleshooting

• Pen not responding: Ensure the pen is charged. Re-pair the Bluetooth connection if necessary. Check if your device's Windows Ink settings are correctly configured.
• Inaccurate input: Ensure your screen is clean. If the issue persists, try recalibrating your pen settings in Windows.
• Bluetooth pairing issues: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your laptop. Ensure the pen is in pairing mode (blue indicator light). Try restarting both the pen and your laptop.
• Charging issues: Verify the USB-C cable and power adapter are working correctly. Ensure the cable is fully inserted into the pen's charging port.
