4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any protective film or tape.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker.
- Remove the ice basket.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth and warm water with a mild detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly and drain any remaining water.
- Perform an auto-cleaning cycle as described in the Maintenance section.

5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to start making delicious nugget ice:
- Add Water: Open the top cover and pour potable water into the water reservoir. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
- Power On: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Start Ice Production: Press the "Ice/Clean" button once to begin the ice-making cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Monitor Ice Production: The ice maker will produce nugget ice in approximately 6-8 minutes. The "ICE FULL" indicator will light up when the ice basket is full, and the machine will pause production. The "ADD WATER" indicator will light up when the water level is low, prompting you to refill.
- Collect Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket.

6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your ice maker and ensure fresh, clean ice.
6.1 Auto-Cleaning Function
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
- Press and hold the "Ice/Clean" button for 3 seconds. The unit will enter a 15-minute self-cleaning cycle.
- Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir.
6.2 Manual Cleaning
- Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
- Remove the ice basket and clean it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
- The top cover can be easily lifted for more thorough cleaning of the interior. Use a soft cloth and a mild, food-safe cleaning solution to wipe down all internal surfaces.
- For stubborn mineral deposits, a solution of water and white vinegar (10:1 ratio) can be used. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing gently and rinsing thoroughly.
