Upon unboxing your Nitecore EDC25, please ensure all the following components are present:

Setup
Charging the Battery
- Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight.
- Open the protective cover of the USB-C port.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight and a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The battery indicator lights (green LEDs) on the flashlight will illuminate to show the charging status. When all four green LEDs are solid, the battery is fully charged.
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and securely close the protective cover to maintain water resistance.

Battery Level Indication
The EDC25 features four green LEDs to indicate the battery level:
- Four solid green LEDs: Approximately 75%-100% battery.
- Three solid green LEDs: Approximately 50%-75% battery.
- Two solid green LEDs: Approximately 25%-50% battery.
- One solid green LED: Approximately 0%-25% battery.

Operating Instructions

Power Button (Two-Stage Tactical Button)
- Full Press: Fully press the Power Button to turn the flashlight ON or OFF.
- Half Press: When the flashlight is ON, half-press the Power Button to cycle through the four brightness levels: Ultralow, Low, Mid, High.
Customizable Tactical Button (Strobe / Turbo Selectable)
This button provides instant access to either Turbo or Strobe mode, depending on your preference.
- Instant Turbo/Strobe: Press and hold the Customizable Tactical Button without releasing it to activate the selected mode (Turbo or Strobe). Release to turn off.
- Switching Modes: While holding the Customizable Tactical Button, fully press the Power Button once to alternate between Turbo and Strobe modes.
Lockout Mode
To prevent accidental activation, the EDC25 features a lockout mode.
- Engage Lockout: With the flashlight OFF, press and hold both the Power Button and the Customizable Tactical Button simultaneously for 2 seconds. The red indicator light will blink once to confirm lockout.
- Disengage Lockout: Repeat the same action (press and hold both buttons for 2 seconds). The red indicator light will blink twice to confirm unlock.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Charging Port: Keep the USB-C charging port clean and free of debris. Always ensure the protective cover is securely closed when not charging to prevent dust and water ingress.
- Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery periodically to maintain its health.
- Heat Management: The flashlight may become warm during prolonged use, especially in Turbo or High modes. This is normal. Allow the device to cool down if it becomes excessively hot.
Troubleshooting
