What's in the Box

Upon unboxing your Nitecore EDC25, please ensure all the following components are present:

Setup

Charging the Battery

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight.
  2. Open the protective cover of the USB-C port.
  3. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight and a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
  4. The battery indicator lights (green LEDs) on the flashlight will illuminate to show the charging status. When all four green LEDs are solid, the battery is fully charged.
  5. Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and securely close the protective cover to maintain water resistance.

Battery Level Indication

The EDC25 features four green LEDs to indicate the battery level:

Operating Instructions

The Nitecore EDC25 features a dual tail button design for intuitive control.

Power Button (Two-Stage Tactical Button)

Customizable Tactical Button (Strobe / Turbo Selectable)

This button provides instant access to either Turbo or Strobe mode, depending on your preference.

Lockout Mode

To prevent accidental activation, the EDC25 features a lockout mode.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Flashlight does not turn on.Battery is depleted.
Flashlight is in lockout mode.
Charge the battery using the USB-C port.
Disengage lockout mode by pressing and holding both tail buttons for 2 seconds.
Light output is dim or flickers.Low battery level.Recharge the battery.
Flashlight gets hot quickly.Using Turbo or High mode for extended periods.This is normal for high-output flashlights. Reduce brightness level or allow the flashlight to cool down.
Cannot switch between Turbo/Strobe.Incorrect button sequence.Ensure you are holding the Customizable Tactical Button and then fully pressing the Power Button once to switch.
