The AQQA Aquarium Light (Model AQ019) is a full spectrum LED lighting solution designed for freshwater planted aquariums. It features high-brightness LED beads, multiple lighting modes, adjustable brightness levels, and integrated timing functions to support plant growth and enhance the visual appeal of your aquatic environment.

• High Quality Fish Tank Light: Features 5 rows of high brightness LED light beads for optimal light penetration. A scientific combination of white, red, green, and blue light beads supports plant growth. The ABS shell ensures good heat dissipation, and retractable metal stands allow for adjustable fit.
• 3 Light Modes: Select from Full Spectrum (white+red+blue+green), White Light, or Colorful Light (red+blue+green) modes via external controller buttons. Choose the appropriate mode based on your fish and plant needs.
• DIY Brightness Adjustment: White light and colorful light modes offer 10 brightness levels (3%-100%). Separate dimming for white and colored lights allows for 100 combinations of full-spectrum modes.
• 3 Timing Modes: Set the light to operate for 5H, 10H, or 12H. Once set, the timer cycles daily. For example, a 5-hour timer set at 8:00 a.m. will automatically turn off at 1:00 p.m. and repeat daily.
• Memory Function: The light retains its settings after a power failure. If a power outage occurs during a timed program, the program will be postponed by the duration of the outage.

Installation Steps

1. Attach Extendable Brackets: Insert the metal extendable brackets into the designated slots on both ends of the light fixture. Ensure they are securely fitted.
2. Position the Light: Place the light fixture on top of your aquarium, adjusting the extendable brackets to fit the width of your tank. The brackets allow for flexible positioning over tanks ranging from 24 to 32 inches.
3. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the external controller, and then connect the controller to the light fixture. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.

The extendable metal stand can be adjusted within a certain range to best fit the fish tank distance, ensuring optimal light coverage.

The external controller allows for easy access to all light settings and timing functions.

Light Modes

The AQQA Aquarium Light offers three primary lighting modes, selectable via the external controller:

• Full Spectrum Light Mode: Combines white, red, blue, and green LEDs to provide a balanced spectrum ideal for plant growth and vibrant fish colors.
• White Light Mode: Provides bright white illumination, suitable for general viewing and promoting photosynthesis.
• Colorful Light Mode: Utilizes red, blue, and green LEDs to create a dynamic and aesthetically pleasing ambiance in your aquarium.

Brightness Adjustment

Both White Light Mode and Colorful Light Mode feature 10 adjustable brightness levels, ranging from 3% to 100%. The white and colored lights can be dimmed separately, allowing for up to 100 unique full-spectrum combinations.

Timing Modes

The light includes three preset timing modes:

• 5 Hours (5H)
• 10 Hours (10H)
• 12 Hours (12H)

Once a timing mode is selected, the light will automatically turn on and off at the set interval each day. For example, if you set a 5-hour timer at 8:00 a.m., the light will turn off at 1:00 p.m. and repeat this cycle daily until changed.

Memory Function

The AQQA Aquarium Light is equipped with a power failure memory function. In the event of a power outage, the light will resume its previous settings once power is restored. If a timer program was active, the program will be delayed by the exact duration of the power outage.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Regularly wipe the light fixture with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, water spots, and algae buildup.
• Ensure the light is unplugged before cleaning.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the fixture.

Waterproof Design

The light fixture is IP68 waterproof, meaning it is protected against continuous immersion in water. However, the external controller is not waterproof and should be kept dry.

The IP68 waterproof design ensures durability and safety even if the lamp is accidentally submerged in water.

Troubleshooting

Light Not Turning On

• Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into both the outlet and the controller.
• Ensure the controller is properly connected to the light fixture.
• Verify that the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
• Press the power button on the controller to ensure it's not in the off state.

Timer Not Working Correctly

• Confirm that a timing mode (5H, 10H, or 12H) has been selected on the controller.
• If a power outage occurred, the timer program might be delayed. The memory function will resume the program after the delay.
• Ensure the current time is correctly set if using a 24/7 mode (if applicable).

Inconsistent Brightness/Color

• Check the brightness level settings for both white and colored lights on the controller.
• Ensure the desired light mode is selected.
• If using a DIY mode, verify the settings for each segment of the custom schedule.
