Operating Instructions

Getting Started

  1. Adjust Pressure: Turn the pressure control dial on the base to the lowest setting (1) for first-time use or sensitive gums. Gradually increase the pressure to a comfortable level.
  2. Position the Tip: Lean over the sink and place the tip in your mouth. Close your lips enough to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
  3. Turn On: Turn the unit ON using the power button on the base.
  4. Start Flossing: Turn the water ON/OFF switch on the handle to the ON position to begin water flow.

Pressure Settings and Modes

The Aquarius Water Flosser offers 10 pressure settings, indicated by the dial on the front of the unit. Start with a lower setting and increase as you become accustomed to the sensation. It also features two modes:

  • Floss Mode: Provides continuous water pulsation for effective plaque removal.
  • Massage Mode: Offers a unique pulsation for gum stimulation and improved circulation.

Flossing Technique

For best results, follow these guidelines:

  • Aim Correctly: Direct the water stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline.
  • Follow the Gumline: Start with the back teeth and work your way to the front. Glide the tip along the gumline, pausing briefly between teeth.
  • Clean All Surfaces: Clean both the inside and outside surfaces of your teeth, as well as the chewing surfaces.
  • Use the Pacer: The 30-second pacer will indicate when to move to the next quadrant of your mouth. The 1-minute timer will signal when you have completed the recommended cleaning time.
