Setup Guide

1. Charging the Gimbal

Before first use, fully charge the gimbal using the provided USB-C cable. The charging port is located on the handle.

  • Connect the USB-C cable to the gimbal's charging port.
  • Connect the other end to a USB power adapter (not included).
  • The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

2. Mounting Your Smartphone

Ensure your phone is securely mounted before powering on the gimbal.

  1. Unfold the gimbal to its operational state.
  2. Extend the phone clamp and place your smartphone in the center.
  3. Adjust the phone's position to ensure it is balanced horizontally. The gimbal supports phones with a width of 2.17-3.54 inches and a payload up to 0.55 lbs (250g).

3. Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates.
  • To power off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light turns off.

1. Gimbal Controls

4. Gesture Control

  • Fist Gesture: Toggles between video and photo modes.
  • Palm Gesture: Initiates a 3-second countdown to start/stop recording.
  • OK Gesture: Starts or stops face tracking.

5. Built-in Fill Light

The gimbal features a built-in LED fill light with adjustable brightness levels.

6. Orientation Switching

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the gimbal. Avoid liquid cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the gimbal in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
  • Battery Replacement: The 2600mAh battery is replaceable. To replace, open the magnetic cover on the handle and insert a new compatible battery.

Troubleshooting

Gimbal not powering on:
Ensure the battery is fully charged. If the battery is removable, check if it's correctly inserted. If the battery is low, charge it for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
Gimbal unstable or vibrating:
  • Ensure your smartphone is properly balanced in the clamp before powering on.
  • Check for any obstructions preventing free movement of the gimbal axes.
  • Recalibrate the gimbal via the AOCHUAN app if necessary.
Unable to connect to the AOCHUAN app:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  • Restart both the gimbal and your smartphone.
  • Make sure the app is updated to the latest version.
  • If issues persist, try reinstalling the app.
Fill light not working:
Check if the gimbal has sufficient battery power. Press the fill light button to cycle through brightness levels.
