5.2 Summer and Winter Modes
The reversible DC motor allows for year-round use:
- Summer Mode (Downward Airflow): Blades rotate counter-clockwise, pushing cool air down to create a cooling effect. Ideal for warmer months.
- Winter Mode (Upward Airflow): Blades rotate clockwise, drawing cool air upwards and circulating warm air trapped near the ceiling. Ideal for colder months to improve heat distribution.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: Dust the blades and motor housing regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Screw Tightness: Periodically check all screws on the motor housing and blade attachments to ensure they are tight. Loose screws can cause wobbling or noise.
- Blade Balance: If the fan wobbles, check that all blades are securely attached and that their weights are evenly distributed. A balancing kit (not included) may be used if necessary.
- Motor: The DC motor is permanently lubricated and requires no additional oiling.
