4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Compatibility Check

This car stereo is specifically designed for Hyundai Tucson models from 2015 to 2018. Please ensure your vehicle's center console matches the compatible design shown in product images before proceeding with installation.

4.2 Wiring Connections

Refer to the wiring diagram provided with your unit for detailed connections. Key connections include:

• Power Cables: Connect the main power harness to your vehicle's wiring. Ensure correct positive, negative, and accessory connections.
• USB Cables: Connect the provided USB cables for external device connectivity.
• Camera Input: Connect the AHD backup camera cable to the designated input for rear view functionality.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

The unit supports both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration. Connect your iOS phone via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi or your Android phone via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi or USB cable. Once connected, you can access navigation, music, calls, and other apps directly from the stereo's touchscreen.

5.2 Bluetooth Connectivity

The built-in Bluetooth 4.2 module allows for hands-free calling and audio streaming. Pair your smartphone with the stereo to make and receive calls safely, and stream your favorite music wirelessly. The unit supports automatic phone book download.

5.3 FM/RDS Radio

Enjoy clear radio reception with the integrated FM/RDS tuner. You can save up to 18 preset stations for quick access to news, sports, music, and weather broadcasts.

5.4 GPS Navigation

The stereo features a built-in GPS module, supporting both online and offline navigation. The HERE WEGO app is pre-installed; connect to Wi-Fi to download offline map data for your region. Online navigation is available when connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

5.5 Mirror Link Function

Mirror Link allows you to project your smartphone screen onto the car stereo display. For Android phones, screen mirroring works via Wi-Fi or USB. For iOS phones, it works via Wi-Fi. This feature enables viewing maps, videos, and games from your phone on the larger screen. Note: This function may not work with all Samsung phones.

5.6 Split Screen Display

The split-screen feature allows you to run two applications simultaneously on the display, such as navigation on one side and music playback on the other. While two apps are displayed, only one app's audio function will be active.

5.7 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

Control various functions of the stereo, such as volume adjustment, track skipping, and call management, directly from your vehicle's steering wheel buttons. This enhances driving safety by keeping your hands on the wheel.

5.8 Backup Camera Function

An AHD backup camera is included. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the stereo automatically displays a clear, wide-angle view from the rear camera, assisting with safer parking maneuvers. The system will temporarily suspend other audio functions during reverse mode.

5.9 Video Output

The unit supports video output, allowing rear seat passengers to watch video content on headrest monitors while the driver uses the main display for navigation or other functions. Note: A USB video output box is not included and must be purchased separately.

5.10 Multiple UI Themes

Customize the appearance of your stereo's interface with multiple available UI themes. You can select your favorite theme or personalize the main page with a custom wallpaper.
