4.2 Special Modes: SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELD

- LUMIN SHIELD Mode (9900 Lumens): With the flashlight off, full-press and hold the MODE Button to activate LUMIN SHIELD mode. Release to turn off. This mode provides an incredible burst of light for instant defense or maximum illumination.
4.3 Lockout Modes
The TM9K Pro features two lockout modes to prevent accidental activation, ideal for storage or carrying.

- Half Lockout Mode: The Power Button is locked, but the MODE Button remains available for instant access to SEARCH or LUMIN SHIELD.
- Full Lockout Mode: Both the Power Button and MODE Button are unavailable, completely preventing accidental activation.
Refer to the detailed instructions in your physical manual for specific steps to activate and deactivate these lockout modes.
4.4 Sensor Protection Function
The flashlight is equipped with a sensor protection function to prevent overheating. If there is an obstruction near the light outlet and the flashlight accidentally accesses HIGH, SEARCH, or LUMIN SHIELD mode, the brightness will automatically decrease to avoid damage from excessive heat.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe the flashlight body. For optical lens, use a lens cleaning solution and a soft cloth to avoid scratching.
- Charging: Recharge the battery regularly, especially if the flashlight has not been used for an extended period, to maintain battery health.
- Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for long periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) and recharge every few months.
- Water Resistance: While the TM9K Pro is IP68 rated, ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed before exposing it to water. Avoid prolonged submersion beyond specified limits.
6. Troubleshooting
- Flashlight not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check if the flashlight is in a lockout mode and deactivate it if necessary.
- High/Turbo mode dims quickly: This is a normal safety feature. The TM9K Pro's high lumen modes (SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELD) are designed for short bursts of intense light. To prevent overheating and protect the internal components, the flashlight will automatically step down to a lower brightness level after a few seconds of continuous use in these modes. This is not a defect.
- Flashlight gets hot during use: It is normal for the flashlight to generate heat, especially when operating in higher brightness modes. The built-in sensor protection function will automatically reduce output if it detects excessive heat due to obstruction. Ensure proper ventilation and avoid covering the head of the flashlight during prolonged use.
- Charging issues: Ensure the USB-C cable is properly connected and the power source is active. Check the charging indicator light for status. If the issue persists, try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
