1. Important Safety Information

Please read this manual carefully before using the EUREKA J12 Ultra Robot Vacuum Cleaner and retain it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Do not allow the robot to pick up large objects, sharp objects, liquids, or burning/smoking materials.
  • Ensure the charging station is placed on a level surface against a wall, with adequate clear space around it.
  • Do not use the robot in areas with open flames or flammable materials.
  • Always disconnect the robot from the power supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.
  • Use only the original power adapter and charging station provided with the appliance.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  • Choose a suitable location for the all-in-one station. Ensure it is against a wall, on a hard, level surface, with at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front.
  • Plug the power cord into the station and then into a wall outlet.

3.2 Preparing the Station

  • Open the lid of the all-in-one station.
  • Fill the clean water tank (marked with a blue icon) with tap water up to the MAX line.
  • Ensure the dirty water tank (marked with a grey icon) is empty and properly seated.
  • Place the robot vacuum onto the charging contacts of the station. Ensure it is properly aligned.

3.3 Initial Charge

For optimal battery performance, fully charge the robot vacuum before its first use. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status.

3.4 App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection

  • Download the EUREKA app from your smartphone's app store.
  • Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot vacuum to your home Wi-Fi network. Note: The robot only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the power button on the robot for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the power button on the robot for a few seconds until the indicator lights turn off.

4.2 Cleaning Modes

The EUREKA J12 Ultra offers multiple cleaning modes to suit different needs:

The robot supports various cleaning modes including simultaneous vacuuming and mopping, sequential vacuuming then mopping, vacuum-only, and mop-only.

  • Vacuum & Mop (Simultaneous): The robot vacuums and mops at the same time for comprehensive cleaning.
  • Vacuum then Mop: The robot first completes a vacuuming cycle, then performs a mopping cycle.
  • Vacuum Only: The robot performs only vacuuming.
  • Mop Only: The robot performs only mopping.
  • Spot Clean: Directs the robot to clean a specific small area intensively.

4.3 Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

The J12 Ultra uses LDS precision laser navigation to create accurate maps of your home, ensuring efficient cleaning paths and avoiding already cleaned areas.

4.4 App Control and Voice Control

Manage your robot vacuum remotely using the EUREKA app. You can start/stop cleaning, set schedules, define no-go zones, and monitor cleaning progress from anywhere.

4.5 Child Lock

5. Maintenance

5.1 All-in-One Station Maintenance

The station automatically handles dust collection, mop washing, and hot air drying, significantly reducing manual maintenance.

  • Clean Water Tank: Refill as needed.
  • Dirty Water Tank: Empty and rinse regularly to prevent odors and buildup.
  • Dust Bag: Replace the dust bag in the station approximately every 75 days, or when indicated by the app/station.

5.2 Robot Components Maintenance

  • Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and clean any tangled hair or debris from the brush and its bearings.

  • Side Brushes: Check for wear and tear. Clean any debris. Replace if bristles are damaged or worn.

  • Filter: Tap out dust from the filter regularly. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
