  2. Select Mode: Use the mode switch button on the device to select between Transmitter (TX), Receiver (RX), or Bypass mode, depending on your audio setup. The LCD display will indicate the current mode.
  3. Connect to Audio Source/Device:
    • For TX Mode: Connect the device to your non-Bluetooth audio source (e.g., TV, PC, CD player) using the appropriate cable (Optical, 3.5mm AUX, or RCA).
    • For RX Mode: Connect the device to your wired audio system (e.g., home stereo, wired headphones) using the appropriate cable (3.5mm AUX or RCA).
    • For Bypass Mode: Connect your audio source to the device's input and your audio output device (e.g., soundbar, speakers) to the device's output.
  4. Optical Audio Setting (for TV connection): If connecting via Optical cable to a TV, ensure your TV's audio output setting is set to PCM Audio. Refer to your TV's user manual for specific instructions on adjusting this setting.

Operating Instructions

Transmitter (TX) Mode:

In TX mode, the adapter enables non-Bluetooth devices (like TVs or PCs) to transmit audio wirelessly to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Set the device to TX mode.
  2. Connect the device to your audio source (TV, PC) using Optical, 3.5mm AUX, or RCA cable.
  3. Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
  4. The adapter's LCD display will show "Searching..." and list available Bluetooth devices. Select your desired device using the controls.
  5. Once connected, audio from your source will stream to your Bluetooth device.
  6. Dual Pairing: To connect a second Bluetooth headphone or speaker, put the second device into pairing mode. The adapter will attempt to connect to it. Both devices will receive audio simultaneously, and their volumes will be adjusted together.

Receiver (RX) Mode:

In RX mode, the adapter receives Bluetooth audio from your smartphone, tablet, or Bluetooth-enabled laptop and outputs it to a wired stereo system or wired headphones.

  1. Set the device to RX mode.
  2. Connect the device to your wired audio system (e.g., home stereo, wired headphones) using 3.5mm AUX or RCA cable.
  3. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "Ainostone" (or similar name displayed on the LCD) in your Bluetooth settings and pair.
  4. Once connected, audio from your mobile device will play through your wired audio system.

Bypass Mode:

Bypass mode allows you to use your existing wired audio setup while still having the option to switch to Bluetooth audio without re-cabling. This is ideal for upgrading older TVs.

  1. Set the device to Bypass mode.
  2. Connect your audio source (e.g., TV, PC) to the device's input (Optical, 3.5mm AUX, or RCA).
  3. Connect your wired audio output device (e.g., soundbar, speakers) to the device's output.
  4. In Bypass mode, audio passes directly through the unit to your wired speakers. You can then switch to TX or RX mode as needed for Bluetooth functionality.

Volume and Playback Control:

The device features a rotary knob and buttons for convenient control:

  • Rotary Knob: Rotate to adjust volume. Press to play/pause audio.
  • Buttons: Use the dedicated buttons to switch between connected devices or modes as indicated on the LCD.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Ainostone Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver, follow these maintenance guidelines:
