Setup

1. Insert Battery: The weTag requires a CR2032 coin cell battery (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the device by twisting the cover counter-clockwise. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Close the compartment by twisting the cover clockwise until it clicks securely.
2. Power On: The device will automatically power on once the battery is inserted correctly.
3. Pairing with iOS Device:
   • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
   • Open the "Find My" app on your iOS device.
   • Go to the "Items" tab.
   • Tap the "+" icon and select "Add Other Item".
   • Press and hold the button on your weTag until you hear a beep.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions in the Find My app to complete the pairing process.
   • You can name your weTag and assign an emoji to it for easy identification.

Operating Instructions

Locating Your Item:

• Using the Find My App: Open the Find My app on your iOS device, select your weTag from the "Items" tab, and tap "Play Sound" to make the weTag emit a loud 100dB beep.
• Precision Finding (where available): For supported iOS devices, the Find My app may offer Precision Finding to guide you to your weTag's exact location.
• Lost Mode: If your item is lost, you can enable "Lost Mode" in the Find My app. This will display a message and contact information to anyone who finds your weTag and scans it with an NFC-enabled smartphone.

Using the weTag Button:

• Ring Your Phone: Double-press the button on your weTag to make your paired iOS device ring, even if it's on silent mode.

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: The weTag uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification on your iOS device. To replace, twist the back cover counter-clockwise, remove the old battery, insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side up, and twist the cover clockwise to secure.
• Cleaning: Wipe the weTag with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Water Resistance: The weTag is IP67 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. However, it is not recommended for prolonged submersion or use during swimming. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
