Setup
Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the iron is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
- Open the extra-large water fill door located on the top of the iron.
- Fill the water tank with tap water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Close the water fill door securely.

Connecting to Power
Plug the 10-foot pivoting power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The iron is now ready for use.
Operating Instructions
Selecting Fabric Settings with FabricIQ Touchpad
- Once plugged in, the FabricIQ touchpad will illuminate.
- Touch the desired fabric setting (Cotton, Wool, Silk, Synth) on the touchpad. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the iron to heat up to the selected temperature. The indicator light will stop blinking when the iron is ready.

Using Steam Functions
- Steam Ironing: For steam ironing, ensure the water tank is filled and a steam-compatible fabric setting is selected. Steam will be generated automatically once the iron reaches temperature.
- Steam Blast: Press the steam blast button for an extra burst of steam to tackle stubborn wrinkles.
- Spray: Press the spray button to mist water onto fabrics for easier wrinkle removal.
- Vertical Steam: Hold the iron upright and press the steam blast button to use vertical steam for hanging garments or drapes.

Dry Ironing
For dry ironing, ensure the water tank is empty or select a fabric setting that does not require steam. The iron will heat to the selected temperature without producing steam.
3-Way Auto Shutoff
For safety, the iron will automatically turn off if left unattended:
- After 30 seconds if left on its soleplate or side.
- After 15 minutes if left upright on its heel.

Maintenance and Care
Cleaning the Soleplate
To clean the stainless steel soleplate, ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Do not use harsh scouring pads or metallic cleaners.
Draining the Water Tank
After each use, or before storing, ensure the iron is unplugged and cool. Open the water fill door and invert the iron over a sink to drain any remaining water from the tank.
Storage
Store the iron upright on its heel in a safe, dry place. Wrap the power cord loosely around the cord wrap area if available, or secure it with a cord strap.
