Setup

Charging the Sharpener

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the sharpener.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the sharpener and a 5V 2A USB power adapter (not included).

Operating Instructions

Inserting a Pencil

The AFMAT sharpener accommodates pencils with diameters between 7mm and 11.5mm, including various shapes (round, triangular, hexagonal).

1. Ensure the shaving box is properly installed.
2. Gently insert the pencil into the sharpening hole. The sharpener will automatically feed the pencil in.
3. Once the pencil is sharpened to the selected tip, it will automatically eject.

Adjusting Sharpness Settings

The sharpener offers three sharpness options:

• Sharp Tip: Ideal for fine lines and detailed drawing.
• Medium Tip: A versatile option, suitable for general use and kids-friendly.
• Blunt Tip: Best for shading large areas or for pencils used by children who press hard.

To change the sharpness, slide the adjustment switch located at the front of the sharpener to your desired setting.

Maintenance

Emptying the Shaving Box

Regularly empty the shaving box to maintain optimal performance and prevent blockages.

1. Gently pull the shaving box out from the bottom of the sharpener.
2. Dispose of the pencil shavings.
3. Slide the shaving box back into place until it clicks securely. The sharpener will not operate if the shaving box is not correctly installed.

Blade Replacement

The blade is replaceable to ensure long-term performance. Replacement blades can be purchased separately (ASIN: B0CJ8YYSV5).

1. Ensure the sharpener is powered off and unplugged.
2. Remove the shaving box.
3. Carefully remove the old blade assembly. Refer to the replacement blade packaging for specific instructions.
