2.3 Camera Components
Familiarize yourself with the camera's external components:
- Main Lens: Captures images and videos.
- Infrared LEDs: Provide illumination for night vision.
- PIR Motion Sensors: Detect movement to trigger recording.
- 2.0" LCD Display: For menu navigation and playback.
- Control Buttons: Menu, Enter, Shot, Up, Down, Left, Right, Replay.
- Power Switch: To turn the camera On/Off and switch modes.
- TF Card Slot: For inserting the memory card.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Open the camera's casing by unlatching the side clips.
- Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera.
- Insert 8 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
Note: Batteries are not included. Use high-quality alkaline or rechargeable AA batteries for optimal performance.
3.2 Memory Card Installation
- Locate the TF card slot on the side of the camera (refer to Image 2.3).
- Insert the provided 32GB memory card into the slot with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera, until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.
Important: Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the memory card to prevent data corruption.

3.3 Mounting the Camera
- Select a suitable location for your camera, such as a tree or post, ensuring a clear view of the desired monitoring area.
- Thread the included mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
- Securely fasten the strap around the chosen mounting point. Adjust the camera's angle as needed.
- Alternatively, the camera can be mounted using a tripod (not included) via the threaded insert at the bottom.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off and Mode Selection
- OFF Mode: The camera is powered off.
- SETUP Mode: Slide the power switch to 'SETUP'. The LCD screen will turn on, allowing you to adjust settings, view images/videos, and manually trigger recordings.
- ON Mode: Slide the power switch to 'ON'. The camera will enter monitoring mode, indicated by a few flashes of the indicator light, then the screen will turn off. The camera will now automatically record based on motion detection and your configured settings.
4.2 Menu Navigation and Settings
In SETUP mode, use the control buttons to navigate the menu:
- Press the MENU button to access the settings menu.
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons to scroll through options.
- Press the RIGHT button or ENTER to select an option or enter a sub-menu.
- Press the LEFT button to go back to the previous menu.
- Press the MENU button again to exit the settings menu.
4.3 Recording Photos and Videos
In SETUP mode, you can manually take a photo or record a video:
- Press the SHOT button to manually capture a photo or start/stop video recording.
In ON mode, the camera will automatically record:
- The camera will automatically take photos or record videos when motion is detected within its range, according to your settings.
- The fast trigger speed (0.3 seconds) ensures minimal delay.

4.4 Night Vision Operation
The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions. The 46 infrared LEDs provide invisible illumination for clear black-and-white recordings without disturbing wildlife.

4.5 Playback
In SETUP mode:
- Press the REPLAY button to enter playback mode.
- Use the LEFT/RIGHT buttons to scroll through captured photos and videos.
- Press ENTER to play a video.
- Press REPLAY again to exit playback mode.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the camera's exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Use a lens cleaning cloth to gently clean the camera lens and PIR sensors. Avoid abrasive materials.
5.2 Battery Replacement
Replace all 8 AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen or when performance degrades. Always replace all batteries at once with new ones.
5.3 Memory Card Management
- Regularly transfer recorded files to a computer and format the memory card in the camera's settings menu to ensure optimal performance and prevent errors.
- Ensure the camera is off before inserting or removing the memory card.
5.4 Water Resistance (IP66)
The camera is rated IP66, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and powerful water jets. While it is designed for outdoor use in various weather conditions, avoid submerging the camera in water.
