6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Lens

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the camera lens. For stubborn smudges, a specialized lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.

6.2. Battery Care

Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods. If storing for a long time, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.

6.3. Storage

When not in use, store the camera in a protective case to prevent dust and physical damage. Remove the battery if storing for prolonged periods.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Recording Issues

  • Camera stops recording unexpectedly: Ensure the Micro SD card is a high-speed (U3 or above) card and is formatted correctly (exFAT). Check battery level.
  • Shaky footage: While EIS and GyroFlow are supported, ensure the camera is securely mounted to minimize vibrations. Post-processing with GyroFlow software can further stabilize footage.

7.2. Wi-Fi Connectivity Problems

  • Unable to connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure the camera's Wi-Fi mode is activated. Check that your mobile device is within range and try restarting both the camera and your mobile device's Wi-Fi.
  • Wi-Fi connection lag: Performance can vary based on environmental factors and mobile device. Ensure minimal interference.
