To maintain optimal display quality and extend the life of your monitor, follow these cleaning guidelines:
- Always turn off the monitor and unplug the power cord before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner.
- Gently wipe the screen and exterior surfaces. Avoid applying excessive pressure.
- Do not use alcohol, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive solvents, as these can damage the screen coating.
- Avoid spraying liquid directly onto the screen or into any openings.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common solutions:
6.1 No Power / No Display
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet.
- Verify that the power button on the monitor is pressed.
- Check if the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
6.2 No Signal / Blank Screen
- Confirm that the video cable (DP or HDMI) is securely connected to both the monitor and your computer's graphics card.
- Ensure the correct input source is selected on the monitor via the OSD menu.
- Test with a different video cable or port if available.
- Verify that your computer is powered on and not in sleep mode.
6.3 Display Issues (Flickering, Distorted Image)
- Check the video cable for damage or loose connections.
- Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date.
- Adjust the refresh rate settings in your operating system to match the monitor's native refresh rate (240Hz).
- If using the 280Hz overclock feature, note that it may operate for a limited time (approx. 30 minutes) before reverting to 240Hz. This is normal behavior.
- Minor backlight bleeding may be observed in very dark scenes, which is a characteristic of some VA panels and not typically a defect.
6.4 Audio Issues
- Ensure the audio output in your computer's sound settings is directed to the monitor or connected external speakers/headphones.
- Check the volume levels on both the monitor and your computer.
- If using external speakers/headphones, ensure they are properly connected to the monitor's Audio Out port.
