6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and longevity of your daybed.

  • Cushion Care: The cushion and pillow covers feature zippers for easy removal. Machine wash covers with cold water on a gentle cycle, or hand wash. Air dry only; do not tumble dry. Ensure cushions are completely dry before re-covering and storing.
  • Weather Protection: While the PE wicker is sun-protective and fade-resistant, it is recommended to store cushions indoors during heavy rain or prolonged periods of non-use to prevent moisture damage and maintain color vibrancy.
  • Frame Cleaning: Wipe the PE rattan and steel frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically inspect all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Tighten any loose hardware to maintain structural integrity.
