3.1. Button Layout and Functions

  • Left Analog Stick: Movement control.

4. Setup and Connection

The EasySMX X05 controller supports multiple connection modes for various platforms.

4.1. Connecting to PC (Windows 7/8/10/11)

  1. Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your PC.
  2. Press the HOME button on the controller to power it on.
  3. The controller will automatically connect to the receiver. The Player LED(s) will light up steadily once connected.
  4. If connection fails, press and hold the HOME button for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode, then try again.

4.2. Connecting to PS3

  1. Connect the USB receiver to a USB port on your PS3 console.
  2. Press the HOME button on the controller to power it on.
  3. The controller will automatically connect to the PS3. The Player LED(s) will indicate the assigned player number.

4.3. Connecting to Android Devices (Smartphones/Tablets)

Your Android device must support OTG (On-The-Go) functionality for USB receiver connection, or Bluetooth for direct connection (if supported by controller model, typically requires specific pairing mode).

  1. For USB receiver connection: Use an OTG adapter (not included) to connect the USB receiver to your Android device.
  2. Press the HOME button on the controller.
  3. The controller should be recognized as a gamepad.

4.4. Connecting to Nintendo Switch

Ensure your Switch console is updated to the latest firmware.

  1. Go to "System Settings" on your Nintendo Switch.
  2. Select "Controllers and Sensors" > "Pro Controller Wired Communication" and ensure it is set to "On".
  3. Connect the USB receiver to a USB port on the Switch Dock. If using in handheld mode, an OTG adapter is required.
  4. Press the HOME button on the controller. The controller will connect, and the Player LED will light up.

4.5. Connecting to Steam Deck

  1. Connect the USB receiver to an available USB port on your Steam Deck (or a USB hub connected to the Steam Deck).
  2. Press the HOME button on the controller to power it on.
  3. The Steam Deck should automatically detect and configure the controller.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Usage

  • Power On: Press the HOME button.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the HOME button for 5 seconds until the LEDs turn off. The controller will also power off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
  • Reconnection: Once paired, the controller will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last connected device when powered on.

5.2. Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows a button to be pressed repeatedly as long as it is held down, useful for rapid-fire actions.

  • Setting Turbo: Press and hold the button you wish to set Turbo for (e.g., A button), then press the TURBO button once. The button will now have Turbo functionality.
  • Clearing Turbo: Press and hold the button with Turbo function, then press the TURBO button once again. The Turbo function will be cleared for that specific button.
  • Clearing All Turbo: Press and hold the TURBO button for 5 seconds. All Turbo settings will be cleared.

5.3. Vibration Feedback

The EasySMX X05 features dual-vibration motors for immersive haptic feedback. Vibration intensity is typically controlled by the game or system settings. Some games may allow in-game adjustment.

6. Charging the Controller

The controller is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, providing up to 14 hours of working time on a full charge.

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the controller.
  2. Connect the larger end of the USB charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., PC USB port, USB wall adapter, power bank).
  3. The charging LED indicator on the controller will illuminate during charging.
  4. Once fully charged, the charging LED will turn off.
  5. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

Note: If the battery is low, the Player LEDs may flash rapidly to indicate a need for charging.

7. Maintenance and Care
