6. Setup and Installation

6.1 Door Compatibility Check

• Peephole Diameter: Between 15mm and 30mm (0.59 to 1.18 inches).

6.2 Physical Installation

1. Remove Existing Peephole: Carefully unscrew and remove your traditional door peephole.
2. Insert Camera: Insert the Yoidesu Door Peephole Camera into the existing peephole opening from the outside of the door. Ensure the camera lens faces outwards.
3. Secure Camera: From the inside of the door, thread the securing nut onto the camera body and tighten it until the camera is firmly in place. Do not overtighten.
4. Connect Power: Connect the Micro USB power cable to the camera's power interface.

6.3 App Connection (Tuya App)

1. Download App: Download the 'Tuya Smart' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Register/Log In: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Device: Tap the '+' icon or 'Add Device' button in the app. Select 'Security & Video Surveillance' and then 'Smart Camera' or 'Doorbell'.
4. Follow On-Screen Prompts: Power on the camera. The app will guide you through connecting the camera to your home Wi-Fi network (ensure it's a 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz network). This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.

7.1 Remote Monitoring

The camera supports recording to a built-in storage card (if applicable to your model) or cloud storage (subscription may be required). When the storage card is full, older recordings will be automatically overwritten. You can access and play back recorded footage directly through the Tuya app.

8. Maintenance
