4. Setup Guide
4.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Open the cover and insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2. Thermocouple Connection
- Identify the two input ports labeled T1 and T2 on the top of the thermometer.
- Connect the K-type thermocouples to the respective ports. Ensure the yellow and red prongs are inserted into the correct terminals (yellow to positive, red to negative).
- The device will display temperature readings for T1 and T2 once connected.

4.3. Mobile Application Installation
The Elitech ICT-220 integrates with the "Elitech Tools" mobile application for enhanced functionality, including real-time data graphing, report generation, and advanced settings.
- Download the "Elitech Tools" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Install the application on your smartphone or tablet.
4.4. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Power on the Elitech ICT-220 thermometer.
- Open the "Elitech Tools" app and follow the on-screen instructions to search for and connect to your ICT-220 device. The device name will typically appear as "ICT-220" or similar.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth icon on the thermometer's display will indicate a successful connection.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Device Controls

- Power Button (Red): Press and hold to power ON/OFF the device.
- Settings Button (Gear Icon): Press and hold to enter the settings menu. Press to navigate within menus.
- Temperature Interface Switch (Three Lines Icon): Press to cycle through different display modes (e.g., T1, T2, T1-T2).
- Bluetooth ON/OFF (Bluetooth Icon): Press to toggle Bluetooth connectivity.
- Temperature Change Display (Wave Icon): Press to view temperature change trends.
- Buzzer ON/OFF (Speaker Icon): Press to enable or disable the buzzer.
- HOLD Button: Press to hold the current temperature readings on the display.
5.2. Real-time Temperature Measurement
After connecting the thermocouples and powering on the device, the current temperatures for T1 and T2 will be displayed on the LCD screen. The acquisition frequency is greater than 5 times per second, with a response time (T99) of less than 2 seconds for bare wire thermocouples.

5.3. Switching Temperature Units
To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F):
- Press and hold the Settings Button (Gear Icon) to enter the settings menu.
- Use the navigation buttons to select "UNIT".
- Press the Settings Button again to toggle between °C and °F.
- Exit the settings menu to apply the changes.

5.4. MAX/MIN/AVG and Temperature Difference
The device can display maximum, minimum, average temperatures, and the difference between T1 and T2.
- Press the Temperature Change Display Button (Wave Icon) to cycle through MAX, MIN, and AVG interfaces for T1 and T2.
- Press the Temperature Interface Switch Button (Three Lines Icon) to view the temperature difference (T1-T2).

5.5. Data Logging and Reporting (via App)
The Elitech ICT-220, when connected to the "Elitech Tools" app, offers advanced data logging capabilities.
- Real-time Graphing: View live temperature data in a graphical format on the app.
- Data Storage: The device has an optional 5000-group recording capacity. When connected to the app, data storage is unlimited.
- Report Generation: The app can automatically generate CSV/PDF reports of recorded data.

5.6. ADJ Temperature Compensation

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
To clean the device, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Do not soak the device in water or any other liquid.
6.2. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace the AA batteries as described in the Setup Guide (Section 4.1).
