1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker. This appliance is designed to provide you with a continuous supply of soft, chewable nugget ice, perfect for various beverages and occasions. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your ice maker to ensure safe and efficient use. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using this appliance:

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Do not touch the evaporator when the unit is operating or making ice.
  • Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or any part of the unit in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug the ice maker from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Use only pure water or connect a water filtration system to extend the service life of the ice maker.

4. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the components of your Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker:

Control Panel Indicators:

  • MAKING ICE: Indicator light when ice production is active.
  • ICE FULL: Indicator light when the ice basket is full.
  • ADD WATER: Indicator light when the water reservoir needs refilling.
  • CLEAN (Hold 3 Sec): Button to activate the automatic cleaning function.
  • POWER: Button to turn the unit on/off.

5. Setup

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, tape, and any protective film.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section for detailed instructions.
  4. Allow to Rest: After transportation, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (115 Volts).

6. Operating Instructions

Adding Water:

The Aeitto ice maker offers two refill methods: manual and water connection.

  • Manual Fill: Open the top lid and pour pure water directly into the water reservoir (3.7 L capacity) until it reaches the MAX fill line.
  • Water Connection: If your model supports it, connect a water line to the designated inlet. It is recommended to use pure water or a water filtration system.

Making Ice:

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Press the POWER button to turn on the ice maker. The "MAKING ICE" indicator light will illuminate.
  3. The ice maker will begin producing nugget ice. The first batch of ice typically takes about 5 minutes.
  4. The unit will automatically stop making ice when the ice basket is full ("ICE FULL" indicator will light up) or when the water level is low ("ADD WATER" indicator will light up).
  5. When the "ADD WATER" indicator lights up, refill the water reservoir. The ice maker will resume operation automatically after refilling.
  6. When the "ICE FULL" indicator lights up, remove ice from the basket. The ice maker will resume operation automatically after ice is removed.
  7. To turn off the ice maker, press the POWER button again.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker, and to ensure the fresh taste of the ice.

Automatic Cleaning Function:

  1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and water.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with clean water.
  3. Press and hold the CLEAN button for 3 seconds to activate the automatic cleaning cycle.
  4. The cleaning cycle will run for a few minutes. Once complete, drain the water from the unit.
  5. It is recommended to perform an automatic cleaning at least once a week.

Manual Cleaning:

  1. Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the ice basket.
  3. Drain any remaining water from the reservoir.
  4. Clean the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  5. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
  6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and plugging in the unit.

Storage:

If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, drain all water, clean the unit thoroughly, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
